wow its been a long time. well it has not felt that way but i am currently working on trying to update the website with some new work. i found a new web design program and it looks like it can do more then iweb but i got to learn the program. hopefully i would at least add a new photo before the new year for everyone. I did a great one for my birth day and hope to share it soon. i also got my hands on a new photo book. Photo-wisdom, getting through it right now but man i must say its amazing. its one of those books that inspires you and makes you feel great about what you want to do with your life. well i know this is short but i have some good things on the way and i hope to make 2010 a more productive year then this one. LOL. so far the goal is to make 20 portfolio images. but for the most part i think i am going to start just uploading fun photos i take during the day. sort of a photo of the week. and hopefully create more images and continue to work for a better image of my dreams. Happy new year and happy holidays everyone!

Major Update!
I know its been a while but I posted a few new photos. I will edit them down a bit so you might not see some in a few weeks. Trying to get more as well. But I wanted to post a few of everything I been working on for the past year.
I only have two new toy photos but I am working on photographing more. I felt bad that I only create two images of the thing I really love photographing. Will do more I promise.
I started photographing people and got a few ones that I really enjoy. I will edit do cause I feel that some are good but not what I like.
And the project of “The Lonely Pianist” was something that just happen a few days ago. It just came together so nicely that I needed to edit and post them. Hopefully I can more stuff like that and I will post more projects.
Well I will be editing and changing the site in the next few days. My vacation is about over so I cant focus on this anymore 24/7 like I am doing now.

Vacation

I know you are saying vacation? you? well its from my normal job and not from this. it actually means that i will finally update the website with some new images. i will be doing as many photos as i can during my week off. Time to relax. Sit back. And capture the few moments that we breath in. ^^

So i now have some nice pics i want to upload. these are not my normal toy work. they are fun people showing a bit of emotion. i really enjoy these and hope to capture more of it. working on a few projects. and as you can see from these new images that i have updated the font. this will be the new font type. working more on the logo. got an idea just need to work out the kinks. hopefully i will update the site with the new stuff by the end of the week or sometime during labor day when i have vacation from actual work. and today the new arctic monkeys album humbug came out. dear god, pick it up. ^^ sooooo goooooood.

Prints are GREAT!

So the prints came out amazingly well. I love them and can't wait to produce more work and have them printed. I am also printing a few from my portfolio to have them hang in my apartment. my work with ppl will be on the outside and i will have my toy photography in my room. man i cant wait. i just send one of my favorites that i simply adore, Homecoming Dance, to the print to get that one in a nicely black and white version at 16x20. and i also just got a new toy as well. man so many toys. i got a decent amount to photograph right now i got to start making more time for this. rough couple of weeks but doing good. will do my best to post a new photograph by the end of the month.

So i just send some photos to a local print shop to test them out. I have gotten a lot of ppl telling me that they are great so its time for me to check them out. I sent my new photo there since it has nice colours for them to reproduce. Lets see how well it turns out.

so i while doing upgrades and what not i did not transfer over my iWeb domain file. that means i got to recreate the site from scratch. but that means i just need to grab the file form my old drive. good thing i did not format the drive yet. ^^
but in other news i made a nice image today hope you like it.

I love photography and i love the female figure. Toys and wonderful ladies. Manage get a few friends to model for me and well, I miss the hell out of the strobes but i will do with regular lights and mirrors. ^^

The Twisted Land Of OZ

Hey everyone!
At this moment i am listing to Slipknot Vol.3: Subliminal Verses on Vinyl. But that is not the point it is, I HAVE A NEW PROJECT! so with my new camera i am now able to get something going. So with the title of this post you can kind of figure were it will go.
I have the set of toys from the McFarlane called; "Twisted Land Of OZ." I post a pic of the Tin Woodman. Not the actual photo i will make but the pic of the toy. Well wish me luck and i will have a new update when i get one or two photos done.

Well it’s a new year and now its time to set up building this site up again. I finally got a new camera, D90, and man its amazing. I been using more and more of Aperture and starting to really enjoy the program. I just order a new toy, yeah I know, and will set something up with it. Its actually quite nice, a little pricy, but its something that I need to buy to start on my project. I am doing my best to photograph with what I got. I miss Webster for the equipment. But I will be doing what I was taught, using household items to make photographs.

Okay so another quick note.
One= I lost my ID. Pain the ass since i have my original CA Drivers License so its impossible of me to get a new one. I am leaving in a bit from MO so i don't want to get one here and then transfer again. to much of a hassle.
Two= W2 issues with my job. have not receive them and its funny that the one job i work at full time is the one that cant get it right.
Three = Going to get a new camera, D90, cant wait.
Four = Still waiting to hear from UNLV.
well key points and i will have something in the next week or so i promise.
Life is hectic and somehow i don't have time to do much but i will do my best to get this photography life up and running.

So I am sorry that it has been so long since I have updated my blog. Okay so it’s a new year and new things are going on and I need to update.
Going to go for at least twice a month but I will do my best to do more.
Reason, total emotional distress happen in the last months. My life was turn upside down and I need to recalibrate who I was and what I was doing with my life.
So now I am applying for UNLV for grad school and working fulltime in retail. Doing photography on the side as my art and my life.
This will be quick but expect a nice long update and I will be also working on my website hoping to get a new layout and maybe I can get a new image.
Here is one I took a few moments ago with my phone in the snow. I know its bad but I like the shadow that I created.

Interviews

Well after a while of talking to people and doing my best to set up some interviews, i finally got two done today. It would of been done sooner but my car was damage last two weeks and it took forever to get it back to normal. So now I am on the prowl again and doing my best to contact everyone and set meetings with everyone. So far the two people I talked too were awesome. Lunch with Dilip was really cool and I hope to do it again. Clark was really cool and after a small talk said he will consider me and put me on the list of assistants to call. I might be at the bottom of the list but I will surely climb to the top after a while. Well I worked on my website for a bit and now I just got to contact some more photographers. Going to set up a list as well for LA. One month out of school and doing my best to make it.

Assisting 101

A crazy week just past. After making sure I manage to get everything I need for graduation I had a full day of photography work. I started off with taking product shoots at ALIVE. They have nothing there. All I get is a quirky D100, one Dyno light, and a make sift reflector for there stuff. This time do we were cramp into a tiny room. It was very tiny and hard to move because there was other stuff in the way. Not much fun there.

Then I headed over to Tuan’s studio to help him paint it. It was a long time there painting everything white. It took so long that around nine, 8hr shift, I headed home to relax and clean my apartment. The next I woke up early to head over there and help put everything back together and make the studio look nice. Fun times cover in paint ^^

School Is Over

I have finally graduated from Webster University with a BA in Photography. It was a hectic weekend with graduation and bad weather but in the end it was well worth it. The turn out for the gallery opening was amazing. So many people that it was a blast. I hope to hear from many of you about it.
